In collaboration with Kerning Cultures Network, I had the privilege to design the visual identity and podcast branding for the thought-provoking series “Mafast.” This immersive audio documentary podcast ventures beyond the ordinary, exploring questions ignited by curiosity and unearthing unexplored dimensions of the past and present.
Central to the podcast’s visual identity is the title’s lettering, a design element that encapsulates the very essence of “Mafast.” The letterforms were meticulously conceptualized to mirror the podcast’s commitment to peeling back layers and examining narratives from novel vantage points.
The dynamic interplay of the letters reflects the diverse stories that the podcast delves into. Each curve and angle was carefully considered to evoke intrigue and curiosity, much like the stories themselves. The lettering serves as a visual metaphor for the podcast’s ability to present a mosaic of voices and experiences, harmoniously coming together to shape a unique narrative.
Drawing inspiration from the podcast’s dedication to showcasing untold stories, I developed a comprehensive visual identity that resonates with diverse audiences. The design concept seamlessly weaves together elements from different perspectives, echoing the way the podcast uncovers multifaceted viewpoints.
The chosen color palette and typography evoke a sense of curiosity and exploration, inviting listeners to delve into unique narratives that reshape our understanding of the region. Each visual element was carefully curated to resonate with the podcast’s mission — to showcase individual experiences that collectively redefine our perception of this vibrant part of the world.
Collaborating with the Kerning Cultures team on this project was a thrilling endeavor. The podcast’s ability to captivate its audience through stories that often go unnoticed in the broader discourse is a testament to its impact.
As I present the visual identity and podcast branding for “Mafast” in my portfolio, I am reminded of the power of design in amplifying stories that matter. This project stands as a testament to the role visual elements play in enhancing the reach and resonance of meaningful podcast content.
